Likes: When we go hiking or camping there is always so much “stuff” that we need to take with us. You’re probably the same. After all, there are supplies and equipment that you really wouldn’t want to be off the beaten path without.

I’m a big fan of dual-use equipment. There are lots of things that can’t possibly have more than one use; a first aid kit for example. But there are other pieces of equipment that can do double duty. And if a piece of equipment that I really need can be used to provide a little comfort or fill another need, why not?

The Backpack and Seat Combo is one such double-duty pieces of hiking equipment. It’s a great backpack that has a rubberized lining, three huge pockets, and an adjustable shoulder strap, and it also converts into a stool.

Dislikes: I’m not crazy about the guarantee and return policy of Out in Style. It seems the company just isn’t going to refund the purchase price unless they made a shipping mistake or the item is defective. You should make sure you want the product before you order.
